Good Days Gone Cold Days was made by Sarah LaPonte and Helen Jones in the late fall in Pennsylvania while living in and working on a house without heat, without doorknobs, and without much insulation or electricity to speak of. The photos were shot on dollar store disposables as well as medium and large format cameras that were jammed into carry-ons and heaved with sagging shoulders all the way from the West Coast. In addition to photographs, the zine includes writing and a screen-printed 'Sandwhichville' building permit by Sarah LaPonte, a bookmark illustrated by Pony Jacobson, and a banjo tab by the folks at Quiet American Music.
